19 By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20 by his knowledge the deeps were divided,
and the clouds let drop the dew.
Words cannot describe the feeling that I get when I think of the beauty and precision of the universe. Men boast of reaching new heighst in science every day, we boast of going to the moon and giant telescopes and sending probes to other planets. Yet the more we learn about the universe, the more we realize that we are creatures of very little significance. Our minds cannot begin to grasp the vastness of the heavens above us.
With wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations. He set the earth in the perfect spot in the milky way, at the exact distance from the sun, made it the perfect size, set a single satellite at the exact distance, all so that life will be possible on earth. How much coincidence can lead to such perfection? For the earth is perfect in all regards for it to sustain life.
